Snowshoeing in the Sierras Part 2
Because I know you didn't get enough of this from the last post and your thinking "I like the photos, they're fantastic, but I wish there was a video". Well your wish has been granted courtesy of Ryan. Just in case you were wondering why snow pants are necessary and why they are also known as "speed-pants", here is a little video. Snowshoeing in the Sierras
On Saturday, Tyson, Ulysses, Ryan and I went snowshoeing up in the Sierras just past Sugarbowl near Donner Lake. It was a warm day, probably around 60 degrees, but there was still enough snow to make for a beautiful hike. I am old and out of shape (or maybe it was just the thin air).

Bike Race!
On Tuesday I wandered down to the Tower Bridge to watch a good, old fashioned bicycle race. The second stage of the Amgen Tour of California arrived in town about 2:00 after starting in Santa Rosa at 10:00 a.m. Although the excitement lasted all of about about 5 seconds, it was still good times. Here is my story...
