On Sunday night I had the privilege of participating in the first "Hotdogs for the Homeless" event. On the 4th Sunday of every month I get the opportunity to join my friends and distribute socks, gloves, food and fellowship to the homeless in downtown Sacramento. This time members of the group had the idea to do something a little different and hold a hotdog barbeque for the people on the street. As far as I am concerned, it was a tremendous success. Thanks to everyone who participated and making it a great night. For more info on what goes on, please link to Ryan Lundquist's Local Justice Blog and the Socks and Gloves homepage.

Jazz!
I know this is old news since the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee was 2 weeks ago, but I had to post something, so I'm sorry. Once again I try to use photography to alleviate the constant ennui of ones soul. And nothing alleviates ennui like a horse wearing mardi gras beads. Enjoy.
